There's nothing worse than staring at a blank piece of paper so to get started have a think of how you want to organise the information you are going to present. There are two possible ways to do this - chronologically or functionally.
. A chronological CV lists your employment and education in reverse date order. This is the most common form of CV and works well for the majority of candidates.
. A functional CV groups together your skills in one place and then includes a list of previous work experience. If you have had long periods without employment or a have a lack of direct experience for the jobs you are interested in this approach may be useful.
